Culburra Beach is an awesome coastal town on the South Coast of NSW. Our Surf Club overlooks the magnificent Warrain Beach. Our club was established on the 12th of December 1954 and has been patrolling Culburra beaches and keeping them safe for holidaymakers and locals.
Membership is open to all ages. Come and do your Bronze Medallion or bring your children to Nippers. What could be more important than teaching your children how to swim and survive at the beach? We have very motivated members that compete in branch, country and state competitions and can help you achieve your goals.

2026 Patrolling season begins on the 22nd September 2026. This year we plan to run 2 proficency days before December for patrolling members. More to come Thanks for your support!
Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held on 16th August 2026. We encourage all members to attend as we reflect on the past year, discuss important updates, and look ahead to the future. We look forward to seeing you there!
We will be holding an intense format IRB crew course from the 15th to 17 March. The 15th will be a theory night followed by two days of practical including the assessment to gain your IRB crew award. You must be bronze medallion proficient and also complete some theory assessment
